Tandem Raids Rescue 18 in the Philippines
Two simultaneous raids rescued seven girls and 11 women from sex trafficking.
Nearly two months of hard investigative work culminated in two raids happening within minutes of each other. Destiny Rescue agents joined a force of over 60 professionals for a 5 a.m. departure to prepare for the operations.
To prevent the traffickers from warning each other, the raids were conducted simultaneously. The tandem raids were a success: all 18 victims were rescued and two traffickers were arrested. One survivor opted to return home and the rest joined government shelters to begin their journeys toward freedom.
