10 Children Rescued in Asia
10 children between the ages of 13 and 18 have been rescued in Asia. Five of the kids were trapped in a brothel when our agent found them. After posing as a customer, he waited until everyone else was asleep before escaping and bringing the children to freedom.
All 10 survivors are being reunited with their families. To read about one survivor who refused to leave a family member still trapped in exploitation check out our blog.

Most survivors decline to press charges in these situations to avoid community stigma, but this time one brave family chose to prosecute the trafficker! Hopefully this will embolden others to help us not only rescue survivors, but hold traffickers accountable as well.

The women, all between 20 and 45 years old, had all been deceived by the same lie: good jobs were waiting for them out of the country. To avoid detection and travel fees, the victims were transported separately to a neighboring country’s airport. When our agents discovered the plot, we acted quickly alongside police to rescue the women before they could be trafficked out of Nepal.
The primary trafficker, a woman cloaked behind fake IDs, escaped for the time being, but her accomplices were identified.
If reports from other survivors are any indication, these women would have faced up to 20-hour days of hard, unpaid manual labor and sexual abuse. Read more about how traffickers deceive their Nepali victims here.
