It took extensive planning and skilled teamwork. On an unassuming February night, our teams and law enforcement executed four raids in immediate succession.<\/em><\/h5>\n\t<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n

Preliminary:<\/h4>\n

Jan 2020 \u2013 Teams gathered intel on two pimps and two establishments. All four selling minors for sex. Cases are opened and the operations are underway.<\/p>\n

Precursory briefings establish mission arrest targets:<\/strong><\/p>\n

    \n
  • Pimp selling individuals, including minors, for sex operating within a hotel. Rescue targets:<\/em> Multiple teenagers. Youngest appears quite young. Exact ages unknown.<\/li>\n
  • Street pimp selling minors for sex. Rescue targets:<\/em> Four teenaged girls. All look well under 18. Exact ages unknown.<\/li>\n
  • Two spas, both front businesses for the same-sex trafficking ring.
    \nRescue target:<\/em> 15-year-old girl being sold and exploited along with other girls and women in the spas.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\t<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n

    Operation Timeline:<\/h4>\n

    5:30pm<\/strong> \u2013 Destiny Rescue agents arrive at police headquarters.<\/p>\n

    6:00pm<\/strong> \u2013 Officers, agents and social workers meet for a briefing on the four cases and the initiatives planned for the evening. Four separate operations need to happen flawlessly and in succession for the night to be a success.<\/p>\n

    7:12pm<\/strong> \u2013 After over an hour of preparation the team prays together and departs to their assigned locations.<\/p>\n\t<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n

    7:19pm<\/strong> \u2013 Team dispatched to local restaurant. Rendezvous coordinated with pimp.<\/p>\n

    8:08pm<\/strong> \u2013 Team confirmed on premises. Support team on standby nearby and out of sight.<\/p>\n

    8:43pm<\/strong> \u2013 Undercover operatives in the restaurant give the signal. Support team, including both police and case workers, responded immediately.<\/p>\n\t<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n

    1 arrest
    \n4 minors rescued
    \nages confirmed to be 14-17 years old<\/em><\/p>\n\t<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n

    8:57pm<\/strong> \u2013 Team en route to the next location, a hotel. Rendezvous coordinated with pimp. Their support team waits nearby to jump into action once the signal is given.<\/p>\n

    9:56pm<\/strong> \u2013 Team confirmed in the target area. On standby, support team in position.<\/p>\n

    9:57pm<\/strong> \u2013 Operative engages with pimp. The signal is given. Backup team responds. Caseworkers assist six survivors, four are confirmed as minors.<\/p>\n\t<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n

    10:21pm<\/strong> \u2013 Teams gather for the final briefing.<\/p>\n

    10:32pm<\/strong> \u2013 Teams divide into A and B. Both en route to the final two spa locations.<\/p>\n

    10:53pm<\/strong> \u2013 Both teams confirmed in staging areas for simultaneous spa raids.<\/p>\n

    11:32pm<\/strong> \u2013 Undercover operative enters Spa Location A. 15-year-old rescue target is confirmed on premises.<\/p>\n

    11:39pm<\/strong> \u2013 Operative gives the \u2018go\u2019 signal to both teams. Teams in both locations move in. Officers facilitate arrest and security while caseworkers assist the survivors.<\/p>\n\t<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n

    \nLocation A: 9 rescued \u2013 1 minor, age 15, and 8 other adult women \u2013 ages 20+<\/em>
    \nLocation B: 12 young adults rescued \u2013 ages 18-24<\/em><\/p>\n
